Arsene Wenger is still dreaming about having Liverpool striker Luis Suarez in his Arsenal squad.
The Gunners boss was a pundit on French TV during Liverpool’s 5-0 thrashing of Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Sunday evening and he was left purring over the Uruguay international.
Wenger made a cheeky £40,000,001 bid for Suarez in the summer which unsettled the player and his relationship with the Merseyside club.
However, Suarez is now the Premier League’s most in-form striker, with his brace against Spurs swelling his tally to season to 17 goals from just 11 games.
In the studio, Frenchman Wenger said: “All defenders hate playing against him. He has a strong personality and beliefs.
“According to the information I have gathered it is very easy to work with him every day.
“He is friendly, loves to train, he is an angel. But he turns into a demon when he is on the field. We all dream of having players like that.”
