Apple names Best applications of 2013
Apple has released it’s Best of 2013 lists, covering top apps, games, music, and more from iTunes and the App Store. Apple had their own picks and also provided a recap of top apps and games based on downloads.
Duolingo, the language leaning app, was named iPhone App of the Year while Disney Aninmated was the iPad equivalent. The iPhone Game of the Year was Ridiculous Fishing: A Tale of Redemption. Badland was chosen as the iPad Game of the Year.
By downloads, Candy Crush Saga was a favorite for many. It topped the free iPhone and iPad app list and also beat out the competition for the top paid iPad app spot. The top paid iPhone app was Minecraft.
